Hi all, how are you?. I'm new to playonlinux and I want to install and use Pickit 2 from microchip (old program), this is basically a program to download and upload programs from and to a PIC microcontroller, it uses the USB port.

What I wanna know is if playonlinux allows that program to control the USB port in order to perform those operations.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks but the solution found by the poster in french was to use a custom made version of Pickit 2, may be I need to try only to make the virtual machine to recognize the USB port, any help on that?

Looking in /dev/bus/usb/003 there are three files, two of them named 001 y 002 with file size of 0 bytes, the third is named 012 also with file size of 0 bytes but this last file appears and dessapears as soon as I connect and disconnect the Pickit 2 programmer, what do I need to do next to connect it with Pickit 2?

Thanks in advance for the help
