Unable to open Windows exe file on Mac

PlayOnMac v25.1.1 - have been unable to open Windows exe file on iMac desktop. 

Keep's re-peating an "error in POL_Wine > Wine has crashed' > pop-up message. 

Don't have a copy of Windows, hence POM v25.

Suggestion's?
