Hi,

I downloaded palyonmac recently to try to play "The Witcher" on my mac. I read that it succesfully enabled to play the game.

Now the problem is I can't install it as well as any other program from the installation menu of playonmac. I press the install button and nothing happens. I can install programs via the "Install programs not included on the list" button but that dosen't solve my problem because I need a patched to version 1.5 Witcher. In any other case I'am asked for administrator rights (mentioned in this topic: http://www.playonlinux.com/en/topic-8301-Problem_The_Witcher.html ).

I don't know if the installation using the list differs from the installation of not included on the list aplications.
Are the scripts the same? Patching windows games on mac is rather hard so I was looking forward on using the prepared procedure ;)

Well, the game is still not working despite my efforts to install any patch on my own
Can anyone help?

Oh, and I have a Os X 10.6.8 version and XQuartz naturally installed.

The problem of the install button is quite strange.

I advise you to rename Library/PlayOnMac and start from scratch to see if the problem still happens

The renaming and reinstallation helped. I supose I had two folders named PlayOnMac and that's why the instalation launch didn't work.

Playing now Witcher nearly without problems ;-)
